By depicting the front and the back (bottom picture), it becomes clear that these shaggy Tüllü rugs are more flat-weaves than rugs: the robust wool threads were pulled through in the second step. These products are ideally suited for use in the tents of nomads, but also could have been used as saddle blankets.
